1.What are the types of Terminal Blocks?

Depending on their purpose and shape, terminal blocks can be divided into the following categories:

Plug-in type: including sleeve plug and spring plug

Crimp type: mainly U-shaped, O-shaped, C-shaped and other shapes, usually used for wiring copper core aluminum sheath cables

Cold-pressed type: special tools are used to press the wire or cable terminal and the metal shell. The use effect is stable, but it requires professional operation.

Threaded type: usually used when the conductor is too large or too hard and requires manual tightening to complete the connection.

When using terminal blocks for electrical connections, you need to pay attention to the following points:

Select the appropriate terminal block model and specification

Peel the wire or cable and remove the oxide layer from the copper core

Depending on the type of terminal block selected, the wire or cable is inserted or crimped into the terminal and secured with a suitable tool

Pay attention to the firmness and safety of wiring to prevent loosening, leakage, etc.
