Crimping operation steps
1 u-shaped terminal crimping
Insert the processed wire core into the metal ring of the U-shaped terminal to ensure that it is completely inserted and the insulation layer does not enter the crimping area.
Use wire crimping pliers to align the metal ring and apply pressure. After crimping, check whether the terminal and the wire are firmly combined and there is no looseness.

2 tubular terminal crimping
After the wire core is put into the tubular terminal, it is pressed with a square wire pressing pliers to form a serrated indentation to enhance friction and prevent loosening.
3 miniature terminals (such as XH2.54) are crimped.
The terminal is divided into three parts: wire core insertion area, middle protrusion (connecting wire core) and outer protrusion (fixed insulation layer). It is necessary to press the wire core and insulation layer separately with small wire crimping pliers to ensure that the internal and external bite is tight.
4, screw connection terminal
Single hard wire can be bent into a "sheep's eye" or a U-shape, and screw down the screw after inserting the tile-shaped wiring pile; Multi-strand wires should be folded in half or inserted directly to ensure that the screws are pressed in the middle of the conductor.

Key considerations
1 Crimping quality requirements
After crimping, the pull-out force of the conductor should reach at least 60% of the tensile force of the conductor itself.
Check whether there are no burrs and cracks at the pressure joint, and the contact surface is smooth and free of oxidation.
2 Anti-loosening and no juice
For vibration environment, piercing connection (insulation displacement technology) can be used.
Or winding method (the wire is wound more than 180 degrees) to enhance air tightness and mechanical strength.
3 Special treatment of grounding terminal
The grounding terminal shall be made of corrosion-resistant materials such as 316L stainless steel, and anticorrosive paint shall be avoided during crimping to ensure reliable grounding.
Common problems and prevention
Weak crimping: check the matching between terminal and wire to avoid oversize aperture or crimping process error.
Poor contact: Carry out general test and pull-off force test regularly to eliminate the influence of burr or dirt in the installation hole.
