Cold-pressed terminals, also known as Crimp Terminals or insulated terminals, are core components used for wire end treatment in electrical connection systems. They achieve a reliable connection between wires and device terminals or other wires through physical crimping, offering advantages such as easy installation, dependable connection, and corrosion resistance.

The main purpose is to achieve reliable and convenient connections between wires and electrical equipment (such as circuit breakers, contactors, Terminal Blocks, switches, and instruments); to extend or branch wires through specialized connectors (such as butt sleeves or T-shaped branch terminals); and to protect the ends of stranded wires, preventing copper strands from fraying, oxidation, or short circuits, while improving mechanical strength and electrical safety; it also standardizes wire end sizes, facilitating standardized installation and maintenance in control cabinets, distribution boxes, and other scenarios.
Currently, widely used types, besides PCB terminals, include hardware continuous terminals, nut terminals, spring terminals, and others. These include round insulated terminals, cold-press terminals, forked insulated terminals, pin insulated terminals, flat insulated terminals, bullet-shaped fully insulated terminals, long intermediate connectors, short intermediate connectors, round bare terminals, forked bare terminals, male and female insulated terminals, tubular insulated terminals, tubular bare terminals, and pin bare terminals, among others.
